My employer has acquired new site vehicles for us - Nissan Navara pick ups. They are used primarily for low speed (<20mph) driving for short durations and they pretty much only last a week before the DPF light is on. Now I realise this is less than perfect conditions for a modern diesel but we also have a Kia Sportage which has given no issues and any loaners we get when the Navara are away have been faultless (Hilux, Mitsubishi, Ranger). I’m trying to determine whether Nissans are more sensitive to this use or whether the issue could be the fact that the loaners have probably been run in with normal road use while the Nissans have been used this way from day one (so has the Kia right enough)
