The wife's Mazda 3 (2005 1.6 petrol) has failed it's MOT because the traction control light is on, although the same garage has passed in previous years with the same fault! They have diagnosed it as an ABS module fault.

These must be pretty prone to failure as I had the same issue with my BMW last year.

Has anyone had a Mazda one replaced in the Midlands, if so where and what would be a rough cost? I know you can get them sent off for refurbishment, but you'd also need to get it taken out and refitted, compared with the fabled replacement for £1,500 plus at a main dealer

I'm trying to get hold of the exact fault code, as wives aren't very good at getting hold of that sort of thing.
