Mitsi Colt Ralliart Version R
Discussion
Looking at replacing the wife's Suzuki Swift Sport with something else and Japanese gets the vote for reliability.
I read a review of one of these by Auto Express back in 2006. Now its this early version that I like the look of way more than the facelift model.
Question is where on earth can you find them, well apart from Japan. I don't think they were brought into the UK.
Anyone know of where might be a good place to find one?
And are they any good?

I'm starting to think as much, cool little car but price relative to what else is out there is a little silly though I have a penchant for being silly with car purchases. That said this is meant to be the sensible car for the wife that will be good for other duties and B road fun which the Swift is already hence why we've kept it so long...
Is the new Swift better? I think it looses some fizz but more grown up and easier to live with on a long journey with the improved gearing.

mate of mine was selling one over in ireland a few weeks back for about £5k.
Stupid rare and probably not worth the import price for what they are these days, cool little car though.
Curious though, is it still for sale?Stupid rare and probably not worth the import price for what they are these days, cool little car though.

I owned a mitsubishi mirage asti for a couple of years (now there's a rare and cool car), and can't fault the brand for reliability and parts prices.
I guess a more budget replacement could be an EP3 type R, they can be had for buttons these days.
I've got the '12 facelifted model.
It's a wicked car and as others have said you can quite easily add quite a bit of power.
Car sounds great as well for a 1.5T
Gripes with the car are thick A pillars, no 6th gear, plastic interior (but what do you expect)
Bought mine for around £5k with 20k miles on the clock this year
They are getting harder and harder to find though
