Just get a Type R. You're not going far with tuning a Civic 1.4

I'm not a massive Honda guru but I can google a inspire S and think that means you have a mk7/ EP shape civic.

In which case there isn't really a huge amount of parts out there, you may find looking on some of the JAZZ/honda Fit forums that people mod the 1.4 but from what i can tell the 1.5l is the one people go for.

Sad to say that beyond perhaps a induction kit and exhaust to make more noise more than power, you're not likely to see any mega gains without spending far far too much, or doing an engine swap.

If you really like Civics but a Type R is a step too far due to insurance costs, there is a Type S model which has 160hp/ 0-60 in around 8 seconds

A 1.4 is listed as potentially being in insurance group 9-15 on a scale of 50 , a Type S is 22, a Type R is 34 so you could be surprised.
