No I'm not after one, but I saw one on the roads the other day. First time I seen one and I didn't know a new one was out.
Actually a bloody good looking car. Showed other half and she wants one! Got to be the best Micra yet and clearly trying to shed the granny image.
Anyone tried one?

The local dealership had one sitting in the local shopping centre a few weeks ago, it was metallic grey with orange details (mirrors, parts of the alloys, door strips etc) and it looked like a smashing little car in fariness, it looked like a slightly more aggressive Clio/Kadjur, but that's no surprise.
It's built in a Renault factory that also builds Clios and Zoes. It's actually a car I wouldn't mind being seen driving, though the cutesy image might be missed by some. Micra sales were dropping so the new model had to look modern, it needs to appeal to generations that aren't shuffling off the mortal coil.

It's actually a very smart looking car. They needed to do something saying as the K13 Micra was a sales disaster.
Deservedly so too, it looked too much like the K12, which had already been in production for 8 years, and once you drove one it had obviously been "value engineered" well beyond the point of sensibility. It will take them years to regain lost sales ground, if they ever do.They do look nice, we went and had a look the other day as we are short (looong) listing the wife's next car.
Thing is they only come in 1.5 diesel and 0,9 petrol flavours. If they made a spicy one we'd be tempted, they look great when you spec one up with all jazzy coloured dashboard bits and things.

The old K12 Micra 160 SR was a bit of a hidden gem. My 1st wife bought a 9 month old example in 2006 and still has it as the station snotter today, 150k later.Thing is they only come in 1.5 diesel and 0,9 petrol flavours. Sadly not 160bhp, but a 1.6 with about 105bhp. The car was very light, and an absolute hoot to drive hard. A startling transformation from the standard models. If they do something similar with this model it'll be well worth a look.
