Skylines in Cheddar Gorge

My Dad works up at the Gorge and mentioned there were 8 or 9 of them rumbling up and down this afternoon

Yup! sounds like us,nice tight convoy of'bout a doz 'liners in all rumbled thru the Gorge.Caused quite a stir,felt like a celeb for a few mis-guided secs Cheddar Gorge was chocka so we couldn't park up together to do our simultanious noisy startup.
Had some really GOOD driving in the general area tho.

I'm impressed my Dad knew what a Skyline looks like! He's not really a car person.

I tend to avoid the Gorge on public holiday weekends as it gets stupidly busy which is nice for posing but not so fun when you have to follow tourists doing >15mph up the Gorge Some cracking roads over the top of the Mendips though

I get annoyed that I go out in the Four, and nobody gives it a second glance.

I go out in the Mustang, and small children clap and cheer, grannys smile and I even get some respect from the chavs.

The Mustang wouldn't see which way the Four went off boost. On boost, it's not even on the same planet.

You're lucky mate! My next car is deffo going to be more of a 'Q car' (watch me buy a bright pink NSX )The attention can be nice for a while,but trust me,it gets tiring & worrying pretty quick.
