Hi,

Looking to buy a 2005 SWB Toyota RAV4 , its done 99000 Miles, I am planning to use it as a daily runabout, and for the odd motorway journey, its either that or a Volvo V70,

I have a MERC W124 E300D at the moment, and my work with property maintenance has been killing it. So i want to retire the old merc and do a few jobs on it.

Any advice.

Robust machines. My brother has a 2003 5 door and it does well for him. General servicing and maintenance should see it well.

I have noticed that a few we went to see ha e the engine management light come on, usually pointing to the O2 sensor.

Also check the tracking as most we saw had the steering wheel out of line.
