6 months later, i managed to track down a set of 215's to go with my 225 rear boots.
in a word, the michelins are fantastic. level of grip in wet and cold has multiplied beyond my expectations. stopping distances have shrunk so much, I've had to adjust how much pressure i apply to the brake peddle
i originally wanted the goodyear 4 season gen 2's but the sizes don't exist yet.however, I'm am hardly disappointed and recommend buying the michelins.
