Nice image in this week's Auto Express of the '07 GT-R (it'll lose the Skyline name). The image shows a slighty more slinky shape than the GT-R concept of a couple of years ago.
Details are still sketchy regarding the engine, and there's talk it could use electric motors on the front hubs (hybrid technolgy).
Seems there shouldn't be any problems with it being sold officially over here.......but why do we have to wait so long? I wanna see it now!

My money is on the Japs chucking out electric supercars in the next 5 years...
Agreed 100% Gazboy.I think we'll be seeing a lot of elec stuff in the near future & it'll get better & better.
Seems that the bean counters over at nissan are still undecided which version to put into production.Nissan Boffins have produced a tuned cutting edge tech version & a less techy, less aggressive version(rumors this version is very much like souped up 350z.I know which one I'd rather see-tho they'll prob opt for the 'sensible one'.Still they will be officially imported here & in the US.
3300cc V6-plus*******?
......or.....
4000cc v8-plus*******? plus what? oooh the suspense.....
