celica st202 for track use
Discussion
Recently picked up one of these 94 jap import close to 180bhp goes very well with blitz induction kit 4in back box no cat, about 70/80kg pulled out of it. Just wonder would they stick abit of track use they have a wet sump so my mean worry is oil starvation give it abit of an overfill to be safe? Will be running on 17's low profile's but on standard springs and shocks they do handle nicely don't think these have double wishbone suspension think that's the beams version. The 3SGE have race pedigree but its an old car 130k on the engine plus it has to get me there an back 200mile trip!

Think sump baffles aren't allowed in MR2 race series and they run on semi slicks.
Pretty sure they dont use semi slicks. However my old 3SGE Celica was fine on track on a number of occasions. I ran it on R888's and never had an oil issue, sure they handle well but you are a miles off the kind of cornering force that will cause oil starvation in one of these!
