My wife just phoned to say she noticed it in Woolworths and did I want her to pick it up for me. It's times like this I remember why I married her. This evening I will be mainly chucking a Scooby round the Nordshleife.

Mine's been on order with the 'Zon since Sep '03 as well.

It'd better be good!

Still, buying my new toy has taken the edge off GT4 a little.....

I'm looking forward to putting a virtual Rex round the Nordschiefe before i put the real one round it though, always good to practice.....

This'll be the PS2 game, GT4 then. All this talk of GT4's and Supra's doing 8min laps of the 'ring, was starting to confuse me.

I need a PS2 with a copy of GT4. I have seen pics of my car, in full Castrol livery, and I have to see how fast it will go round the 'ring.

I have also seen pics of a Volvo 240GLt estate. I would be quite intersted in seeing how that does.

I've often wondered what it would be like to include a load of crap cars in a computer driving game.

Me and a friend have been thinking up ideas for ages for a GTA: Vice City/San Andreas sequel set in Britain called UK '82. It would be similar in concept to San Andreas, except that you would be a punk, lots of people would be unemployed, there would be recession, strikes, riots, the lot - great background for a crime caper.

Of course, the cars you would drive would be accurate to the period. Obviously you'd get some '80s supercars and exec saloons in city centres, driven by yuppies, but it would be for the majority, crappy BL stuff, rusting, battered Cortinas and RWD Cavaliers with pink whippy aeriels and mudflaps.

Well I think it's got potential...
