My new RX-7.....

Well, on advice i've popped into JapChat, and i think it'll probably become my second home!

Picked my RX7 up on friday, it was for sale on this site, and boy is it fun!

The wheelspin in 3rd, and 15mpg isn't much fun, but i'm getting used to it....

Its a Mazdaspeed RX-7 Type-RS A-Spec, 280bhp.

More to come as i learn about it! I'm off to my first club meeting tonight so i'm sure we'll all sit around chatting about the price of Optimax...

I'm pretty much half way between Basildon and Wickford, just off the A127.

There are a few other RX7 owners around here, and i've seen plenty of Jap cars around, so i look forward to a meet of some kind through Pistonheads.

Yep this is Ric's old car. He was sad to see it go on friday, but rest assured its gone to a very enthusiastic and loving home!

I am going to the pub meet tonight, i'm meeting up with Initial-D (Ben) as he lives just up the road and we're heading down in convoy.

Very nice car mate.

We saw a black RX-7 in our village (Coggeshall) the other week. Nearly headbutted the window trying to get a good view. Sounded awesome too.

Beefy - did you drive past Ford Warley the other morning…? Saw (and heard) a black RX-7 warble past….

Lovely looking car, always fancied one… just ended up going the TVR route instead still, fuel "economy" isn't much different!
