To be fair, it's got about as much in common with an Integra as the Renault F1 car has with a Clio.

55psi of boost has to be fun.

(edit - spelling)

The tuttle attempts a philosiphical stance(& fails to even spell it right)
Of course agreed, pretty much any competition car has virtually nothing in common, bar its name,to its street counterpart. It is damn impressive, imo, drag extremeism etc, shows a kind of purity of purpose. The car isn't a practical thing anymore,in the same way that haute couture isn't really practically wearable.
Just my 2 cents.

Turbo Lag???

You seem to sit quite close to the engine, with not much in between you and it. I would imagine it gets quite hot in there.

I would fancy sitting there if it went "pop"!!

Oh agreed, but most road based race cars have fairly strict rules regarding base engine/block changes, dimensions of car etc.

A rally car is a souped up road car.
A BTCC car usually has a similar wheel position and engine size.

This is half a V8 sitting in a drag chassis wearing a plastic shell to make it look like a car.
