This is also in the events forum but just in case some don't visit there smile

Great day at Japfest yesterday, although as a photographer, super tiring and my legs are shagged after kneeling down all day. Did anybody go? Have a look through my albums and say hello if I have a pic of your car! smile

Thanks for sharing your pics Dan.

I think I should go to this next year,I don't even own a Jap car but it's something different for me.

Sure was a Mugen, though I didn't bother getting a pic as some kids were slobbering over it.

Would definitely recommend, was very good for a first at Silverstone. Or there's still two sort of Japfests to go this year, Rockingham and Hop Farm.

There's also Jap day and Japshow. To be honest there's something for everybody to enjoy, I got talking to a family who didn't even know what was going on or why they were there but they seemed to be enjoying it biggrin

I was there, no pics of my car in your flickr so I'm going to go off in a huff!! laugh Some lovely pictures there! Adore the RX-7's, ITR's, and Evo III's & IV's

I felt there was something missing compared to last year at Combe, something just seemed off. Don't think it was helped that I don't like S/stone and will probably not go next year. Did you see the Supra in the ditch on the A43? Poor guy didn't even make it, his girl looked very cheesed off.

I'm looking forward to Japday though at combe though smile

I was there, on the GT86 stand. Was a good day out, definitely hard on the legs and feet though!

Thanks mazdaj appreciate that. It really was tough on my legs, I kneel or squat for the majority of my shots to some degree, so yesterday and some of today I literally felt like I'd been working my quads for 6 hours.

Thanks mate, show me your 86 and i'll be sure to get a shot at Combe smile I was chuffed with the number of Evo iii's and iv's, they're my favourites. And I've never seen so many FD's in one place!

I missed the Supra in the ditch, but seen the video biggrin

I know what you mean about Silverstone, doesn't have the same vibe as Combe, but maybe it's just first year problems and the weather was cack. I'll definitely attend again next year to see how it improves.

edit: i see in your garage you actually have an r33 gtst, show us a pic smile

Very enjoyable day, if a bit too cold.

Nice to be able to tie it in with watching the drifting on track, made the day a bit more than just wandering around looking at cars (which I have a limited capacity for).

No pics of mine, but it was pretty tucked away...I got invited onto the retro car mag stand, then they fked me over, so I parked up with some old Mx5 friends.

I was tucked away at the back of our stand, this is one of the best ones of the day taken by my mate so all credit to him ( https://www.instagram.com/adamwalker36/). Got my movable aero down at the front which is cool. Other than an amp in the boot & an iPod jack near the front it's pretty much standard. The stereo/speakers were upgraded by the original owner in Japan but they are from the 90's so they still fit the look smile

White Supra posted above belongs to a fellow PHer (Pilchard8), I've tagged him in your fb album.

I was parked front and centre on the MLR stand, away from the Evo riff raff wink
