Suzuki Alto, 2014, 996 3 cyl anyone had experience of these?

Have just bought one for my wife, 6k miles and as new, at a price I couldn't refuse.
Little red Suzy, basic, small, buzzy fun to drive, does what we need from a micro car.
Not really what I'm used to but a change is refreshing.
Ok it's not a Skyline or rwd Corolla 16v but the Suzy has renewed my interest in small Japanese cars, may be looking for a 70s Civic soon!

My wife has owned one from new since 2009 and it has developed myriad new and interesting ways to try and kill her.
The steering has failed
The brakes have failed
Two of the engine mounts failed catastrophically
It developed a mysterious (and expensive) habit of enabling the immobiliser whilst turning and dumping engine power/steering/braking. A week out of warranty.
Her mum's car (a 2012 model) has been flawless.
