Is it just me or are 350Z's simply not selling at the moment? Mine's been up for sale for 4 weeks now and hasn't had a sniff of interest aside from the odd 'I'll swap you a Corsa for it'. There's a few others I've noticed have been on the classifieds for a long time too.

When I bought mine last year some sold like hotcakes but it was July they are the type of car that people buy in the summer, 300bhp rear wheel drive and frosty conditions will put a few off. Also if yours is a soft top that makes it even more of a summer seller.

If its not selling then its almost always overpriced.

How much is it up for? Condition? Miles?

I sold mine January 2014, and prices seemed to be decreasing following this. I have recently been looking to get back into one, however I have noticed that since selling mine, prices seem a little inflated.

Example: I purchased mine from a dealar, 2005 GT model with 50k for circa £8k. Looking at the used market, you would struggle to get a private one for this price.

I think they arent selling due to these inflated prices. I will be purchasing another if I can find one at the right price.

Agree with George. Prices do aeem to be higher than a year or 2 ago and I imagine that has slowed sales.

For the right price anything will sell.

Mine is a convertible - I suppose being in the north isn't helping in that sense!

Currently up for just under £8k. Excellent condition, 59500 miles.

Without seeing pictures / knowing more, that seems to be the going rate compared to what else is for sale.

However, that doesn't meant they are correct. I suppose the low cost of fuel at the moment will help maintain used 'performance' car costs.

I'm looking to spend around £6k on one with circa 60k miles on. I have put in offers on a few and haven't been too far off!

It doesn't help you unfortunately but I'd love a 350z, they seem to be holding their money very well or perhaps are just hovering out of my price range so appear to be doing so

Anytime I've mentioned to mates that I'd like one they bang on about the tax bracket being mentally high? could this be putting people off?

Tax bracket is quite high - £505 a year. I'd consider it completely worth it but I suppose peoples opinions vary!

That's only around £1.40 per day which lets face it is nothing, and considering the ammount of car you get for your money its pretty reasonable

I'll have one in the next 12 months I hope

If you get 350z pre 2006, tax is £285 per year which is much more reasonable. Although you do get a slightly less powerful engine.

Yep, I think its too much money. Loads of cars at the same price and they do not seem to be selling. I would have thought a coupe is more sought after too.

At a more reasonable and tempting price I`m sure it will sell.

A grand or more too expensive, I sold my 2007 Convertible with 39k on for £7000 in November, even then there wasnt much interest but it only needs one, I started advertising it at 8k and dropped it £200 every couple of days until it sold, think I got some interest at £7200 and the guy came and offered 7000. Mine wasnt perfect, few dings, bit of corrosion on the wheels so I priced accordingly.

So many overpriced ones out there at 10k or so, dealer stock that hangs around for months, if you want to sell it, drop the price, be prepared to accept say £6500 - £7200 or hold on to it, though it is the right time to sell.

Bought my 350z roadster 5 weeks ago 18k miles absolutely mint condition kept in heated garage all the ally suspension still shiny, paid £7900 which I thought was well priced, was even still on the original tyres which I have now replaced as they had gone hard.
