NIssan X-Trail alarm 2005 2.2 DCI Remote key Fob not working

The car has sat for five weeks so battery has drained, which im assuming is the reason key remote fobs no longer working.
Checked battery in one of the fobs and was reading 2.9 volts which sounds fine as its marked as a 3 volts.
Need to remove the battery to fully charge but alarm keeps going if battery is disconnected, there a way I can disable the alarm, maybe a fuse somewhere?
