Hello all. New to the Jap world!

Hello there, I'm very new to the Jap world but i am looking forward to the experience of ownership of my newly acquired R33 Gt-R V-spec! as up to now all my other cars I have owned have been classics so i feel like a fish out of water and my knowledge is weak but hope to have fun learning all about the car and the culture that surrounds it! I've always wanted a skyline ever since I played Gran Turismo back when i was just a kid! well now i'm a even bigger kid I've decided to take the plunge! Thanks for taking the time

Lovely machine! Are you signed up to the SOC? http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/forums/forum.ph... you will find a wealth of knowledge there and meets etc There are also the GTROC too for just GTR's.

I've got a R33 GTST and love it to bits, it's also one of the first made so it's like the dawn of the 33's

Did you import yours yourself?

Thanks for the links i'm not currently signed up to any forum other than this one but i'll take a look for sure! No the car was imported back in 2002 really looking forward to using the car as much as I can this summer! so who knows might see ya out there!

Get them while you can dude, have you seen R32 prices since they hit the 25 year rule and are now able to be legally imported to the US? Prices have doubled in a year for R32 GTR's

Yeah i've been keeping an eye, I'd want a GTST anyway which don't seem to have been affected as much, still plenty going for 4-5k. Food for thought though, you just never know when prices will spike.
