Getting prety fed up with the poor dip beam on mine and been thinking about this conversion for a while.
Sine Ive decide to keep for at least another year I wondered if the conversion was worth doing, in terms of atcually seeing where you are going in the dark ?
Not done this on mine, but several of the guys on CCUK have done it - there is a fairly comprehensive guide on there written by an ex-owner who made a number of upgrades to his car.
I've found my OEM lights fine, especially since changing the bulbs to Osram Nightbreakers.
