and a new alternator pulley...

Just out of interest, do you have to put the cat back in come MOT time? Also, what if you have a crunch, do your insurers get all shirty? Just curious really

My insurance have been informed of the de-cat, and don't care.

MOT? There are ways and means, I'm sure.

All current rally spec machines have to be road legal and fully MOT'd. Ours have always been de-cat'd and never had any problems. Current Mazda is very loud (although never had cat on it) As far as I know competition cars aren't treated differently.

Just put an offer in to a mate for an 80mm stainless dp for the FD... should be aurally interesting

I found out last week that there is a company right near me who make custom downpipes!!
A mate of mine (who's ST205 GT4 is currently aiming at over 400BHP!!) is having his made there. I will keep you posted!

PS, the FTO should sound pretty nice

OH MY GOD!
all done...
sounds mad!
totally different without the cat and oh so loud...
really awesome noise...
and so much quicker top end, spins in 2nd
well worth my time and money to do

For a smiliar noise, remove all the sound dedening from your dyson
