Mazda RX-8 192 PS question...

..Does anyone know how much slower the 192 PS model of the RX-8 is than the 231 version? Fastest Laps.Com quotes 0-100 in 18.6 secs (not sure what their source is) which seems quite reasonable for the power to weight; perhaps the lower powered version makes nearer its quoted power than the higher powered one, which I believe never gets close to 231 PS?

There appear to be more 192 versions of the RX-8 going very cheaply and I wondered if it might be the better buy of the two models. Experiences / comments welcome!!!

Don't forget the 231 is better specd with Xenons, 6 speed box and leather etc etc.

real world not much slower, the 231ps RX8's have more kit/gears. one of the guys at LC Rotary have a bridge ported 192 thats much quicker than a 231ps if rebuilding is an option
