just looking for some feedback ideally, there seems to be a few companies offering japanese auction house services and these were the one i liked the look of the most. i see they are a sponsor on the driftworks forum but was looking for some impartial advice on here.

Yes, I used them back in 2012. I dealt with Rees and Tony and they were very helpful. I'd certainly use them again if I ever source another car from Japan.

I've got a readers' cars thread with a bit more info: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Oh, and a couple pictures of the car:

I used them in 2007, no problems with the process and I definitely got a car in very good condition.

I wrote-up the overall importing process here http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?342007-Guid... if that helps.

Do understand that it takes time, and that when you pay a deposit for them to start looking, you won't get the money back if you change your mind, but definitely a good way of getting a good car from the Japanese auctions.

I purchased a Subaru Forester STI in Sept 2018. It got caught in a Typhoon while sitting on the docks. Not sure the insurance they put on will the car will pay out. Waiting for a result after 5 months

I've been speaking with Tony this week about RX7s, he was very responsive and helpful. Will be looking to use them in the near future
