Hi, I've recently bought an 09 plate Swift Sport, which is fantastic! I just wanted to improve the gearchange with fresh oil. I know the spec is GL-4 75W90, but not sure whether to go semi or full synthetic or which brand to go for. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Phil

I changed mine to Red Line MTL GL-4 and it's made no difference frown

Millers are good a quality brand - not the best known, but there you are. Synthetic, is almost always better than the alternative.
So Millers fully synthetic 75/90.

Will it make a difference - well doubt it to be honest, it will just make your gearbox howl less at 175 thousand.

Cheers

We run a supercharged one in the timeattack series, redline shockproof & atf mix.
Depends on how hard you use it, clutch slave cylinder are plastic and bypass, master cyl same plastic can change them fairly easy but can be a pig to bleed.
Ended up fitting a slave & master from honda civic.
