Pics of my car.
Discussion
Well, its only taken 3 months, but I finally got round to posting my pics.
Although they are the same photo's used to sell the car to me, as I haven't got round to taking any pics myself.
Anyway, here they are
Front right
Rear right

Most of you have seen the pics before, and some of you have seen the car in the flesh (but not that clean!), but I thought it worth doing anyway.

Very nice boss. Needs a slight drop and spaces on the rear......
Fourth and Fifth generation did. The sixth generation (see profile) was the quad headlamp version.
This one is actually sort of a fifth-and-a-half generation, as it gets the improved cooling and various other bits that then went into the 6th.....

I was thinking that.
I was also thinking perhaps losing the 17's, and going for a fatter, dished style 8x16 to help fill the extended arches.
Hmmm....
If you ditch the 17s I want first refusal. Are they the same stud pattern as mine?

No problem. Although when (or if) the time comes, you'd better remind me. I would imagine they would be the same pattern..
Its something I've been thinking of since I got it. The standard 15's are too small (and narrow) so its just a case of finding some nice, lightweight 8x16's.

Is the car still in the same condition as that looks like a good one?
Exactly the same, just not as clean.

For my next trick,
Blood from a stone!!
Either I am being too picky (more than likely), or no-one out there makes a nice looking wheel in an 8x16 that is dished enough to make it worth it.
All the ones I have seen look, (for want of a better word) chavvy!
Anyone got any recommendations?

I think Keskin do some good'uns.
I think their KT1 "classic" design is rather nice, from what I remember.
I have had a look at their site. The KT3 Solar looks quite nice, and they do it in a 9x16!!! that should fill the rear arches.
Although, understanding the site/pricing is quite tricky. I might see if I can find a UK dealer.

Gor for white rally-style alloys
I'm not too sure about white rims on a grey car. White car with full Castrol/Esso livery, YES definatley. But grey might look a bit odd with white wheels. That said, the chunky looking 5 spoke OZ wheel did take my fancy, but again, only a 7x16.

Rays/Volks
Cheers for the input guys, much appreciated.
Ed.
Me and a mate are having a small disagreement about wider wheels: (bear with me, I will try to make sense)
Would an 8x16 sit further "out" than a 7x16, or would it sit further "in"?
Or would it be a combination of the 2?
He is saying a dont need dished wheels, cos if I go for the 8x16 it will fill the arches more.
Cheers Guys

ps, of the OZ Wheels I have found, I think these are winning.
Although if I could get Image's website to work, I have been told there are some good designs there, even though they are a little pricey.
