Started life as a SORN'd car of 6 years and was in a very sorry state

It was a CAT C with tiny rear left panel damage so we got a donor Supra and swapped parts over. Then we got the VIC inspection done and it passed with flying colours.

First things to do were timing belt change, transmission, engine fluid change, water pump, coolant and address the brakes.

Then painted it Matte Grey and put these deep dish wheels on. They are quite popular amongst the Supra crowd and give it a mean stance. We also fitted a boost controller and de-catted the exhaust. I have not dyno'd it but it pummeled my BMW M6 V10 in a straight line a few months ago on country roads.

Gradually after a few months, it all came together and we ended up with this

Hope you guys like!

Amazing car, how is it in auto? Is the manual conversion easy/cheap?

How much was the respray/wrap if you don't mind me asking? And is it still running the stock turbos?

Respray was £1200 from memory.

Stock turbos but it has been de-catted, dump valve installed and a boost controller biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

To say it goes like s*hit of a shovel is a massive understatement.

To buy a stock 6 speed Supra gearbox is around £3000 (inc conversion). Some chaps in America have created a conversion plate though which means you can put on a BMW 530D 6 speed manual onto the Supra engine. Conversion is around £1000 I think.

I know of another Supra like that, a uk auto, its been driven once in about 9 years and has spent its life under a cover on a drive and latterly in a barn, i dont expect it will see the light of day again frown

Good rescue

Check out this baby that we bought for it

Borg Warner S471 71mm turbo.

Those wheels are 15 x 8" for comparison purposes. We're hoping to put some drag type tyres on the back to stop us slithering into the nearest fence.
