Hi;
Anyone with any real world experience of these. I really like the look of them and they seem to be a hell of a lot of car for what you seem to be able to get them for. I have been advised that the gearbox and the rear suspension can be problematic, anyone know how true that is. Parts cost? Fuel consumption? (I don't expect it to be very high, its a V8 after all). Any opinions welcome, its just an idea I am toying with at the moment but I do realise that they were an expensive car new so am not expecting to run one on a shoestring.

Not sure (probably need to do more research).
Was looking at 2003/04/05 cars if that helps.

I had the LS430 - best and cheapest car I've ever owned, engine is sublime, but no head turner. GS is obviously a 'step' down but still an impressive car. I've heard of a couple LS430 st their gearbox oil cooler resulting in catastophic bills (as you get with any car of this type) If I was to get another I might consider getting a separate cooler.

timing belt is 90 or 100k can't remember - I sold mine at 180k and it was still a lovely car.

there are not many GS430's around. They went hybrid soon after. and the LS became the LS450. Can't remember if they did a GS450
