mx5 ss exhaust manifold.

Mx5 SS exhaust manifold.
Hi all I am shortly going to need a new exhaust manifold for my 1.8 mx5 is it worth going for a SS one over a standard part and if so witch one is recommended as always funds are a consideration hear and not costing the earth would be good. Having said that if the difference is worth it I would consider paying out more. I plan to change the rest of the exhaust to SS as and when funds allow. Are there any systems that are recommended in this department?

In a word...no.
£500 quid for 3 or 4 bhp isn't very economical.
You would be better off speaking to P5 or tracktec and getting a secondhand one which is redundant from a turbo install.
If you must have a SS manifold the Racing Beat unit is nice. (P5 and Rotechniks are the UK suppliers)
