2498cc,straight six single turbo.GTSt 1993 will prob be an R32 poss R33.Type M1 &M2(M2 is a face-lift model,GTR similar front bumper/higher rear wing etc,mechanically same)

over 18 variants between'93 & '98 models aloneso many 'small' differences.
Rwd with HICAS-rear wheel steering(r/wls on a very short travel bar, supposed to help with under/over steer)-not personally convinced
Bhp will vary but should be in the 230-250 range(if standard.
0-60mph is 6.4 secs
standard ceramic internal turbo runs at 0.4-0.6bar.
Engine & assoc systems are all very well built & can handle very respectable amounts of abuse/modifying
Disc brakes all round, decent 4 pots fr,2 rear-not all have ABS,lot of weight to shrug off-the standard units do a good job, imo.
Check profile or E-mail if I can help.

Hehe, yeah.

It always pays to look at 0-100 rather than 0-60 IMO.

The tables can turn rather quickly in that extra 40mph!

Sorry to come over all negative, but what is point of the Skyline GTS-T when the GTR exists? Or more importantly, when the 200SX exists?

You've got all the extra expense of a Skyline and on paper at least, it's not really that quick....

15-16 seconds at a guess, maybe a touch more?

I'd hope it was quicker than that. My ickle 2 litre four pot will crack 100mph in 14 seconds (and 1/4 mile as well).

Horses 4 courses an all that.
Ppl keep forgetting its a feckin' GT!
GTSt is a poor mans GTR,but still a great car, imo.
Agreed the stock specs arn't very impressive, but with minor mods the real world specs are much better.-honest!
200sx is also a worthy beast-just different.

Absolutley, I'm in no way knocking the cars!

I was just kinda thinkin aloud - ie if it was me, I'd rather spend the money on an S14a 200SX.

Then again, if it was between an R32 GTR and an R33 GTS (as they are comparable money) - it would be the GTS.

Or would it? Hmmmmmm the plot thickens!!

Remember there is the S15 200SX as well, though you would probably have to import one of them.

Looked impressive at the autocar sideways challenge last year.

Doubt you'd be able to find an S15 in the UK for under £11-12K. Lovely car though

Will probably sell mine after this summers season, for something a little more practical & suiting current needs.-had 1 or 2 swap offers already
However,in the couple of years,or so,since 'obsession skyline' began,I can definately say that I've enjoyed owning one-more to it than just power specs etc imo there is,for me anyway, something about them Its been a real different experience for me & my family & we've also made some good friends along the way,blah-blah sorry
