Anyone know if either the Subaru Legacy or Mitsubishi Galant are galvanised? Say, late 90's models onwards?

I need a reliable, 'sensible' car, but with turbos And after a series of rusty Fords, I have taken a solemn vow to only buy galvanised cars from now on!

It looks like this is far too sensible to be posted in the japchat forum! And I would suspect most late 90's cars a galvanised...learned their lesson in the 80's.

I didn't reply 'cos I didn't know.

I don't think I've ever seen a rust Galant though. VR4 looks a laugh.

I'm thinking VR4 myself Thanks chaps, and apologies for the boring thread

Now, how much BHP can you squeeze out of a VR4 then? More boost for starters?

High 200's-mid 300 bhp without going 'internal'no prob! & Deffo run more boost
Good choice, the VR4 is very underated & often ignored in favour of its big brother, the Evo,imo.
Know a coupla guys who are mad for them(1 has the estate version),both have done a fair amount of engine & handling mods,& they can now keep up with the Evo's no probs(on the track too)-very impressive.

I just like the idea of a nice, sensible family car. The sort of thing that does a bit of pottering around the garden on a sunday afternoon.

And happens to have 4wd and a twin turbo powerplant.

That *has* to be fun.
