Discussion
Hi. Am considering a 14 plate GT86 10k miles on it. Having some serious concerns regarding batteries and draining issues, are these as rife as the forum's seem to suggest, and do they exist on the BRZ? Can't be doing with unreliable cars! Thanks.

I had a GT86 for 9 months or so, there are two things with the battery some batteries have been replaced under warranty as they were not holding charge for very long at all, in this case it was a few days, on average I could leave mine for 10 days before it was basically going to need one of the jump start battery packs to get it going.
I had one of these http://www.diy.com/departments/torq-300-amp-jump-s... which got us sorted when needed.

I've had mine since 1 September 2012 and never heard of this 'issue'.
Starts first time, every time.
OK i've only had mine for 8 months but never heard of this myself. I'm on a few 86 forums and never seen this crop up either Starts first time, every time.
Re low usage I have only added just under 3k onto mine in the 8 months and never had a issue
No need to apologise.
If you have a concern then voice it, but it's not something I'm aware of and I'm a pretty keen follower.
FWIW mine has done over 30,000 miles but rarely left more than 24 hours. It's been left for a week or so several times for holidays though with no issues at all.
