I bought this a couple of weeks back - finally got around to taking some pics today

unfortunately the light wasn't great:

just need to make it sound as mean as it looks now

need to 'debrick' fit a 'FMIC', 'goose and 'bren device' and I'll be busy for the next few weekends!

(i've been hanging out on the SX forum for too long already)

still, beats the shit out of weekends of B&Q DIY boredom...

Nice one,all the above posts are more or less what I'd have said .Deffinately the 'right' colour, they look even meaner in dark colours.Careful of that modding bug tho-gets under your skin

Very nice mate, best colour too.

Make sure you get some clear indicators fitted as well.

Ooooh bad timing,I just let a nice set of 5-spokes go cheap to an s14 owning friend,(same fit,off-set etc as the skyline)

or good timing - need to get over Xmas spending before splashing too much on the car!

not that cheap were they?

I've been looking at some TSW rims on ebay - look pretty good but I hear they have a poor reputation - low quality alloy, easily scuffed etc.

can anyone recommend how to get some decent looking wheels at £150-£200 a corner?

BK racing do some fairly good wheels for not much, although they're pretty heavy I think.

I had some on my MR2 (see profile).

is this where the restrictor is taken out?

does anything else need tweaking at the same time?

(i take it that it prob doesn't or it wouldn't be 'free')

Nice choice i have an S14 earlier pre-facelift model.

I found that a de-cat (or in your case 2 de-cats) made a huge difference to the car. Also fitted a dump valve for a while but was getting a bit annoying when not driving hard, took it off and the car ran much better without it!

Lots of other things i'd like to do but a new house stops me doing anything for a while.

Very nice. I want one. But tell me, does the manual come with photo angle instructions? Every single 200sx seems to get snapped from the same angle!!

for the wheels, Volk TE37's are obviously the best but you might struggle to get them for anything less than both arms and a leg...

otherwise,

Nismo LMGT4 (on an S15 just to tempt you )

selection of BuddyClub wheels..

Rota Subzero

just a few suggestions.....

wheels are a very subjective thing!!

The red Racing Hart & Volk/Rays(I've got these)are not to every ones taste, but can easily be picked up for the kind of cash you mentioned(2nd hand but good condition) on E-bay,try a JDM wheels search.Even If they're shipped from Japan you should have 'em in 5-6 weeks.
p.s. I let the AVS set go for £400
