Over 300 , I'm currently getting 27.8mpg out of mine
O.k thanks for the reply, that's what I get on a good run. Getting on average about 270miles to a full tank, however I literally leave home and in 20seconds im on a multi lane highway which I sit on with the cruise control set (roads covered in cameras) and after 20mins I get to work which is 35seconds off the highway. The car gets literally no stop start driving just highway. The climate im in with higher temps will no doubt account for a bit of a reduction in mpg, just seems disappointing what im getting out of it, with more mixed driving id understand but not purely motorway use.

Huge tank on the 370 , 72 litres so almost 16 UK gallons , should get way over 300 miles closer to 400 miles really , I've had 380 out of mine but don't run it too low
Yeah agreed the big tank was a reasonable selling point for me as thought would get at least a week of use out of it, if I play fuel gauge roulette on the 7th day of the week I can stretch it but most the time not worth the risk!liner33 said:
Is it all standard , i would that out to 18mpg thats pretty shocking really
Yeah that's what im thinking, totally standard still under dealer warranty so have not even thought about changing anything. Run it on 98ron since the day got it, did a calculation about a month after got it and worked it out to be around 21mpg but its deffo dropped since then so think your right at 18ish.Do get the occasional strong whiff of unburnt fuel from the exhausts on start up, convinced its running rich but then again the exhausts hardly soot up which is a sign of that.

Air filters might be blocked , easy to check those , two clips and lift the holder up , I expect it's dusty there
Valid point will check those this coming weekend. Yeah its the main issue here sand/dust, been a bad few weeks too had a couple of sandstorms stuff gets everywhere!RicharDC5 said:
The air con will also be working hard in those temps which reduces economy a bit.
You are right its rare to drive the car without the AC on, I do however avoid using the car during summer just due to the harshness of the climate but unless its December or Jan its impossible not to have the AC on. Gassing Station | Japanese Chat | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
