I have a knackered master cylinder at the moment which is making my clutch slip at anything over 6psi.
I am tearing my hair out!!!! It's like driving a 1.1l saxo (compared to the normal 13.5psi)!!!
You put your foot down...growl...psssttt...redline in 1.5 seconds, as the speedo climbs at what only be discribed at a pedestian rate.
The second most annoying problem I have had is a faulty intake air sensor. It kept on throwing out readings of 100 deg c, which would in turn "tell" my link ecu to go into ""limp" mode...foot down...12psi/no psi/12psi/no psi, bloody hell my neck was sore by the end of that week!!!
So what is the most annoying affliction/teething problem your p & j has suffered????

Ben, it won't be the temp sensor that's faulty - it'll be the signal ground that it's using. It's a common occurrence on the FM kits but not one that's well documented. I'd re-do the ground connection for the IAT sensor and that'll be problem #2 solved. The slave cyl is no big deal either, new part is less than £50.
Chin up old bean ;-)

It was the sensor Phil...one of the first ever faulty FM IAS. Swaped it out and no problems a year ago.
Master, not slave too.
The clutch really is...
No problems with the elise then???
Would you like some wood too?

Lol ;-)
Elise is fantastic thanks Ben. Everything I hoped it would be, I'm just waiting for some better weather now to start exploring what it can really do. I had a good indication on Saturday as the winds had dried the roads out niceley and I was able to carry significantly more speed through the bends on a road I'm very familiar with. Going to take it to Le Mans this year too, the MD here wants to come along too... in his F355. That should be a fun mini-convoy ;-)
