Garage storage of car from Japan
Discussion
Hey Guys,
I am about to get my first car imported from Japan and I'm slightly worried about storing it in the garage and thus accelerating the rusting of my car. I went in there today to clear out the last or the rubbish and it was cold (same temp as outside) and the cardboard boxes that were in there were just slightly damp (but they hadn't lost any structural integrity).
Having searched it seems that from these two threads that a combination of ventilation and dehum's is the way to go, unfortunately there is not enough space for a dehum, however ventilation is provided by two "vent bricks" in the back wall.

So to reach a point, is there anything more I can do without knocking the garage down and completely rebuilding it? Breathable car cover perhaps?
Thanks

Just that it is an old/cold garage with a single brick thickness wall, and when I went in to sort out some of the old boxes they were feeling abit damp. If I come home late at night or in the rain I won't be able to clear off excess water/leaves before hiding it away.
Just want to keep my car nice and fresh from the boat It will be under-sealed straight away and topped up every year.
