Now that the Alfa Romeo 156 Sportwagon GTA 3.2 litre V6 SELESPEED has been discontinued, I am thinking of importing one from Japan. Is the spec. of Japanese cars (even one they IMPORTED into Japan in the first place, like my Alfa ) likely to be so very different from a UK car, as to need a lot of modifying to make it legal ?

Does anyone know of an agency that can provide help with importing a car from Japan ?
Cheers,
Steve.

Bloody hell- gents, next time someone sends up the long name of the Mitsibushi Lancer Evolution 6 Type Zero Fighter, we'll have to show them this little beauty

The speedo will be in Km's, Alfa probably won't honour the warrantee, it may have different rear light clusters, and it may be limited to 112mph.

also won't have a foglight i suspect.
