Hello once again. The car is pretty much due for an A service. Will be taking him to a local indy.
1. What oil should they use
2. Seem to remember it uses a special Toyota coolant.. this correct?

ta, twice

ps love the way the noise steps up a notch past 5K revs! Did a long run to get some fuel early evening.. it's great to have a car that's fun to drive again.

Oil wise it was designed when Mineral oil was the thing. Castrol GTX 15w-40 will do fine. Or if you fancy keeping it a long time get a fully synth. I'm thinking a 10w-40 fully synth would be fine. (Someone might tell me i'm wrong though.....happy to be corrected.)

Different addatives, on normal stuff your headgasket goes pop.

I'll vouch for that. And so will Sadako....
