Tyres losing pressure regularly
Discussion
The two rears on my Celica are constantly losing air. I must have to add air once a week minimum.
Tyres are in good shape,4mm tread and no obvious damage.
Thinking about either getting a tyre place to take them off and clean the rims and fit new valves OR adding something like that Slime stuff ....

You could make up some soapy water, and apply it around the rim and tyre. If it starts to blow bubbles it could well be wheel refurb time.
I had similar on a set of MX5 wheels. 1 started to regularly need a top up, then a 2nd, then a 3rd all in about 6 months. A quick acid dipping and powder coating (by experts not me), and the problem went away.

Had the same symptoms. When the tyre centre removed the tyre, they found that the inside edge of the rim had corroded and was letting air escape between the rim and the tyre. They cleaned it up, added some sealant and then inflated it using actual compressed nitrogen telling me that that would help prevent the corrosion from happening again.Gassing Station | Japanese Chat | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
