Accord display backlight bulb replacement

One of the two(?) backlight bulbs in the climate control display unit (behind the clock) has gone in my 1999 Accord 2.0SE. The dealer says it's a pig of a job and will cost around £70 (i.e. an hour's work + VAT) to do.
Anyone got thoughts or experience on whether this is a DYI job?

Any help appreciated.
