Mazda 6 Transaxle/transmission Oil Change

I hope someone can help me.
I am trying in vain to change the oil in the transaxle. I have located one 24mm plug on the housing, but cannot find the second. Everything I have read so far states there is an inspection/fill hole and a drain hole. The plugs should be the same size. I can obviously only find one so I am not sure if this is the fill or drain (it looks too high to be the drain).
Has anyone done this job? Has anyone found a correct photograph on the 'net? I have seen lots of images, but none seem to match my car - 2006 6 Diesel Estate.
This appears to be a simple job, but it frustrating me.
