Ordering a GT86 Saterday
Discussion
providing all goes well.
test drove one on Tuesday and loved it. It's sort of going to be the wife's car as I have a 4x4 I need for towing and work, but I will do my best to add more miles on it then the wife
So i'm going to be around this part of the forum a bit more :0)
Burnt Orange, Leather and reversing sensors for me lol
first thing to do is convince the wife we need a exhaust to make it sound a little more fruity.
Any suggestions? and will it make a difference on the warranty?

Congratulations!
Exhaust won't impact on the warranty unless you mess with the manifolds. Even if you messed with the manifolds, they would have to prove the damage wasn't caused by that item. I can recommend the Milltek resonated (I have non-res full system, and it is probably a bit too loud especially on start up if you ever use it early on).

The Miltek went through a period of poor QC it seems with its welds. I think it has been rectified and the exhausts carries a hefty warranty anyway for the first owner.
In terms of how the exhaust fits, it is second to none according my local garage. They said the parts are cut to spec and not from a parts bin that are bodged together.

Congrats! Hope you (both) enjoy it as much as I do mine.
I've not even seen, let alone heard Miltek in real life but I've heard they have a poor reputation for cracking. I'm going the Avo route at the end of this month so will report back then.
Best of luck!
Cheers Grov, exhaust is the first thing on the mods list. I have had a look on youtube to see what the noise on various makes sound like. I know it's not as good as real life but gives me a idea.I've not even seen, let alone heard Miltek in real life but I've heard they have a poor reputation for cracking. Seems there is a lot of choice from £500 to over a grand. so need to look into this further before I buy

Black heated leather & Alcantara seats are available as an option on the GT86, adding extra style and comfort to your car, the £1,600 option?
The heated seats are smashing on the cold mornings.
Did you go for the touch and go satnav and JBL speakers too?
The leather was added for nothing and I can't see the need for Nav when I got a good Tom tom 6000. As for £1100 for better speakers i'm not that mad. I know you can retrofit a US system for much less I seen on the Gt86 forum I like the looks of The heated seats are smashing on the cold mornings.
