Do RX7 FD Catback Exhausts fit all years?

Hey guys,
I was due to pick up a 94 Rex and purchased a few bits for it. Sadly the sale has gone on hold for a few reasons and it was agreed that I would get my deposit back if I found another.
I am due to look at a 97 car on Saturday but I am worried the exhaust I got for the 94 car will not fit.
It was imported from the US and is marked "93-96 RX7 FD"
Did Mazda change the hangers or something or is it just because they only sold the Rex in the US from 93 - 96?
