Hi Folks,

My business partners Nissan Juke 1.6 broke down last week, Nissan have had it for a week. Its just outside of warranty.

It took them an age to work out the ECU had broken, they're now trying to charge £2k for a new ECU, £1k labour for diagnostics and £500 to fit the thing.

I'm not an expert on these things, but this sounds like robbery, the car is only worth about £7k....

I've replaced engines in other marques for £3k. smile

Can anyone assist?

No advice I'm afraid but...you could email Litchfield as they are pretty good in the Nissan department and also started developing specialist parts for the Juke.
