I'm sorry guys, i truly am. Sooner or later, I might stop asking so many bloody questions

One of my headlamp bulbs (dipped beam) has gone - I've contacted "PowerBulbs" (I wanted to get better bulbs anyway) but they cannot quote the fitment I need as the car is an import. Grrrr.

Is it the same as the UK MR2, i.e. the H4?

Russ

p.s. Sorry

Did you find your bulbs a bit on the dim side at first?

I never really thought about it, but I took a mate out for a bit the other night and he commented on how dim my headlights were in comparison to the ones in his 'Cupra...

I had it on the Beemer as well, its one of two things:

1. Older cars have crap bulbs.
2. I'm getting old!

Jumping in my old mans car, there is a world of difference.

But, aside from this, do you know the answer to my question?

Go on then, how do you change them? I'm curious now and I reckon I'll need to know one day!

The bulbs are H4s, I recommend the Philips Vision+ from Powerbulbs - plus free sidelights.

Changing the headlamp bulbs are easy:

Click me baby

Changing the sidelight one are a major pain in the arse... you need to pop the unit out, and then its pretty self explanatory....popping it back in is even more of a ballache.

I was having trouble, so someone on MR2OC did me a video! Right click and save as.. Clickety Click

I can actually see at night now, and the super white (as opposed to smoggy yellow) sidelights look much better
