The Castrol Supra
Discussion
Hi all,
Traditionally I am a German car fan, but being a child of the 80s/90s I of course was subject to Gran Turismo and that still defines some of the cars I hold in high regard - quite possible for the wrong reasons!
Anyway, I really loved the look (then, and now) of the famous Castrol Tom's Supras, I am kinda surprised there are very few replicas out there - I can only find an article on one.
Does anyone know whether the race car bore any resemblance to the road car, was it a similar chassis, or a complete custom-made space frame? If you wanted to build a replica, is there a bodykit (Veilside maybe?) that resembles it, or would it have to be a custom fabrication job?
Just curious
Thanks - and apologies if covered already!
James
