Trying to sort out my mothers car issues.
She has a Toyota Prado (?) which isn't picking up well under acceleration.
I need to get a diagnostic check done, but the local Toyota dealer don't want to help, as it's a Grey import, circa 2000/2001.
Can anyone suggest where I can take the car?
I am located in Marlow, but willing to travel, to get this sorted.

Thanks in advance folks!

Try Stuart at Japex, Kings Langley.

Very good Toyota tech.

AFAIK legally, the dealer can't refuse to help as it is a Toyota, it doesn't matter where it came from.

Toyota's IT2 diagnostic tester may not be compatible with an import, and if it was, the codes may not be readable......and if they were, they still may not relate to the UK specs which the readers are set up for.

TGB offer no support for Grey imports, so from the dealers side, its just not worth the hassle.
