Nissan GTR purchase 2011 MY
Discussion
Hi,
A close friend (non PH Member) is about to do a deal on this car:

Is there anything he needs to know regarding spec, MY, facelifts etc etc.
He has only test driven this one car and is of the opinion it is good value?
Any Help appreciated?
Steve

It's ok price wise if it is immaculate with FSH. It doesn't have the Recaro seats or red interior bits that some prefer (there was no difference in price at new) which may affect resale.
Check the tyres and brakes for wear and cracking (discs) as they are expensive to replace i.e. £2k for a set of Dunlop's but other non-OEM tyres can be had for £1k.
Make sure he get's some warranty.

I would say it's a tad over priced, and is probably on theoriginal tyres which won't last much longer, my original set lasted 8k miles of normal road driving.
I think this one looks good...

... and is 3k cheaper, and if it's got new tyres it's a far better deal IMO.
