I have an '06 MPS. Presumably the sport is similar, sans turbo?
Mine has done 85k. Had to replace the rear diff mounts and will be doing the engine mounts and boot struts, other than that I'm very happy with it.
It's not light, but an apparent kerb weight of under 1700kg isn't bad for a decent size saloon. Definitely no rally rep, but then it isn't supposed to be, despite some of the silly comparisons I've read.
