My GT-Four has been parked up for a couple of years and due to me not disconnecting the battery originally, it is dead so I have 2 questions:

Any recommendations for a new battery (not silly money)

What are peoples thoughts on solar chargers? It would be possible to leave a solar panel on the dash to keep the battery topped up.

Any links to powerful enough chargers.

Thank you

Nathan

To be honest any battery from a decent motorfactors will go. Even Halfrauds HD ones are OK. I have one on my ST202 and has been problem free.

Weird. I've just got myself an ST205 that had been parked for a couple of years and the battery is dead as dead gets.
Got a new one from Halfords. Friends trade card knocked £30 off the price too smile

I've relocated my battery to the boot so it does start a bit lazily so I was hoping that I'd be able to get some sort of uprated one. I might have a look on GT4DC to see what they recommend.

The trade card makes it viable, otherwise Halfrauds' prices are way too steep. I always get my batteries from a motor factor or by internet mail order.

Batteries are often surprisingly affordable at Toyota dealers.
