subaru turbo 2000 year 99 prodrive ecu upgrade
Discussion
Recently bought a turbo 2000 wagon as a winter runner in standard form, with exception of silly dump valve, green cone filter and roger clark rear exhaust system.
Idea was just to run it as it is, but i think the boost bug is biting a little, and seeing as there is a prodrive kit for sale im wondering if this is the safest way to put a few more horses into it.
Is this just a case of plug and play, and how do i tell if i have the correct parts for my year.
Cheers

I am really surprised that nobody has answered this.
The PPP kit, should be an exhaust system, intercooler y pipe (the same as the STI, but with a blue Prodrive hose) and and an Ecu with a pink sticker on it.
In the standard car, the complete kit gives 255bhp/ 252ibs. The same torque in fact as the P1.

Yeah, I have a picture somewhere.
I found one in a local scrappy back in 2002. They did not know what it was, so I got it all cheap and sold it for £300 more as I had a mapped STI at the time, so it was no good to me.
The new owner tested it before buying and his car started straight away and drove around the block.

Just for future reference is the prodrive turbo 2000 (MY99-00) ecu marked SP and pink.
Are these all the same, or is there a particular serial number.
And, do you or do you not need to re code the keys ?
Cant seem to get a proper answer on the last one
Thanks again.
