Anyone know the service intervals and what needs doing at each service? Are these reliable cars? They seems to have good reviews which are much improved over the older 2.0d engine.

Service interval, 12mths/12,500 miles.
Oil and filter change, reset lights, Indie charges £80 Inc vat, Mazda want £195 +vat. Most of the rest of the service is check dust caps, oil door hinges and all that cr@p

75,000 service is the big one, about £600 from a Mazda dealer.
2.2 is a better design and a LOT less dpf problems.
I don't know if you know but Mazda service records are computerised, So you can ring up the dealers, give them a reg no and they can tell you the service history.

When I was looking for mine I call in to my local dealers with a few packets of biscuits and mince pies, They were more than happy to let me call them with reg numbers and give me the history.
Oh and its free,(apart from biscuits)
I looked at about 20 cars before I found mine, If you want to know any more specifics let me know and I will try and help.
Andy.
